PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — California-based plastic injection molding firm Medway Plastics announced it will open a regional production facility in Pflugerville, creating 100 jobs over a five year period.
Medway currently employs 200 in Long Beach, California, but is considering moving its headquarters to Texas. The company makes plastic parts for the agriculture, aerospace and other industries. The new facility will be 51,000 square feet and is located at 1600 Royston, formerly home to FedEx.
In consideration for the jobs created, Pflugerville will provide the company with a $50,000 relocation grant and $100,000 in job creation incentives. Medway will hire at least 20 within the next year.
